Plays all my European movies with no problem. I have movies from differnt parts of Europe that didn't play on my other player. This player played them without any special connection or tv. I just had a tv purchased at BestBuy.

It did everything they say

It did everything they say. I tried movies from Russia, and also played MP3 discs and JPEG's on it. It works good.

Awesome

This players is absolutely awesome. I think it sucks that the movie industry is putting these regional codes on all the movies, but once you have this player, you no longer need to worry about all that. You can buy any dvd from the net, or when you are traveling overseas, and it will play with no problems.
