Plays all my Region 2 and region 4 movies. Pal or NTSC doesn't matter. Quality is great on American region 1 movies, and region 2 movies. TV set is good quality and remote is well designed and easy to use. Best of all we don't have to use any cables!

I thougt this TV was multi system

I bought this tv thinking it was multi system. It does play Pal DVD movies, but anytime you hook up a Pal source to the TV such as a VCR you get a scrolling black and whit image. I was going to take it to Europe with my, but now I can't. I guess it is a good tv for someone that wants to use it in the USA.

We just moved from overseas with a collection of dvd movies. I already have a region free player for my Living room, however I wanted one for the bedroom as well. I didn't want to buy a dvd player and a tv separately, so this was perfect. I saved money and I dont' have to deal with hooking everything up. It works will all dvd movies right out of the box.
